What is 3D Printing Model?
3DPrintingModel is an online marketplace for 3D printing models and design files.
We believe that 3D Printing is the future of manufacturing, and will have a major effect on the global economy. Soon, everyone will own a 3D printer and will print things instead of buying them on the store. There will be less mass manufacturing done in developed countries to save costs and less worldwide cargo shipping. We’ll have a greener planet and personal manufacturing will make sure less nature resources are mined in vain.
Taken all that into consideration we built this 3D print model and designs marketplace. Our vision is that soon enough everyone will be searching for models on the internet and print them, instead of purchasing on the store. Many people will design things and then sell their design on the internet.
Join the movement and become a seller or a buyer.

What is 3D Printing?
3D printing is a form of additive manufacturing technology where a three dimensional object is created by laying down successive layers of material. A large number of competing technologies are available to do 3D printing. Their main differences are found in the way layers are built to create parts. Some methods use melting or softening material to produce the layers, e.g. selective laser sintering (SLS) and fused deposition modeling (FDM), while others lay liquid materials that are cured with different technologies. In the case of lamination systems, thin layers are cut to shape and joined together. Each method has its advantages and drawbacks, and consequently some companies offer a choice between powder and polymer as the material from which the object emerges. Generally, the main considerations are speed, cost of the printed prototype, cost of the 3D printer, choice and cost of materials and color capabilities.
